Dr. Roland Jones founded our company in 2010, and we have seen a steady growth in the years since. After serving in the US Army Field Artillery, he graduated from Georgia Military College as Valedictorian. He earned his commission and served in the Military Police. He later shifted course and his path to medicine began. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, followed by his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida in 2000. He completed his residency at Wilford Hall in San Antonio, Texas, and went on to serve as Chief of Neurology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. In 2009 he completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
His time at FSU had left its mark and after many years away, he made a decision to return to Tallahassee to begin his career and raise his family. In 2010 Dr Jones opened his private practice in a small, shared office space, working entirely on his own. With strong training, hard work, and a thoughtful approach to care, he quickly earned the trust of patients who appreciated his expertise, attention to detail, and genuine kindness. Over the next decade, his reputation resulted in steady growth, allowing him to add additional providers and support staff to his team. Before long, the practice had expanded to 30 employees and a strong and loyal patient base.
In 2020 we opened our second location in Thomasville, Georgia. The success of that expansion cleared the way for another in 2025, with the opening of our Panama City office. Today we take great pride in a practice that has grown from a one-person operation to a thriving organization with 6 physicians, 12 nurse practitioners, and a total staff of more than 80 employees across three locations.
This forward momentum comes from one source… staying true to our mission to deliver excellent patient care, to hire the best people, and to treat every patient with respect. We look back with great pride at the progress we have made and we look forward to continued growth and everything the future brings.
If you have been experiencing pain for more than two months, it’s time to see us. We use treatments that are only the most advanced and minimally invasive. And at your request, we use Moderate Conscious Sedation as part of the procedures. In addition, for your convenience, these procedures are performed in our office.
We will design a treatment plan for you, beginning with a thorough evaluation process which begins with talking to you about your symptoms or pain. We will conduct a physical examination as well as analyze any prior testing. Based on this information, we will determine the best course of treatment for you.
Our commitment at Southeast Neurology & Pain Management is to provide you with superior quality of care, honesty, and respect. We want to be your trusted partner and work with you to restore your life to its optimum. Contact our office to arrange a consultation.
